The Science Film Festival Thailand takes place from the 18th to 28th of November 2008 for the fourth time. The festival has established itself as one of the most significant forums for filmmakers in Asia since its inception fours years ago. The films showcased provide access for the public to the complex world of science in an entertaining presentation.
An international jury panel selects the award winners for six categories from the festival programme. All participating films are presented to the public in several cities across Thailand in museums, universities and other educational institutions. Last year the festival drew over 43,000 visitors.
